The little black shoe

I recently found out that the perfect little black shoe is more elusive than it may sound. The ideal pair will lift you up just enough to flex your calves, but not so high that you have no stride. After all, a girls walk is everything, you know.

They will have a feminine arch to the sole that flexes the foot and a semi-pointed toe to make the foot look longer and sleeker. No matter the shape of your foot these are two characteristics that can be played on and will prevail every time.

Last, and definitely most important, a heel that makes a statement! Wood is one of my favorite choices. With so many grains and colors... the unique looks are endless. Regardless of your choice, the important part is to say something about yourself. People will be looking!

Just a quick tip to the wise- decide exactly what you want and do not settle for less. Once you have a clear picture of what you desire , it is easier to eliminate all the excessive options and distracting clearance racks.
