Hot Toddy Time

Toddies are nice. It’s actually fairly hard to mess up whiskey, a bit of honey, and some water and wonderful for warming up on a cold night. You might find you don’t need that sweater or sweatshirt after consuming one of these. Just the perfect mix of flavors, great for an awful cold and this drink is helps to sooth a sore throat. The the doctor tells me that, contrary to what some people have been told, it’s really not the absolute best thing if you’re actually sick, especially with a fever. The dehydrating diuretic properties of alcohol are not what you want when under the weather, now a good old chicken soup better for cold of flu sufferers. On the other hand, if you’re simply sick from worry or stress on a cold winter evening, there is no simpler remedy.
